New Silverwing CD "County Line" release party
Silverwing is excited to announce the release of our newest CD "County Line." It is a follow up to our first CD "Moonshine." "County Line" is filled with new original music written by Mel Warstler, Mary Warstler and Georgina Arze. It was recorded in our home studio, engineered by our rhythm guitarist Sean Rold and issued by CDBaby.com. Many hours were spent bringing Mel's musical ideas to life with harmonies, guitar riffs, drum rolls and hours of editing. It was a challenge, but well worth the effort. Since the CD is dedicated to Merle Haggard, there are two Haggard covers "Silver Wings" and "Mama Tried" included on "County Line." Merle's passing inspired Mel to write "Angel Band" with his many references to classic Haggard songs.
